Love their wings. Hate that they're closed for lunch! I live in Racine and work in South Milwaukee. I used to stop by on my way home to pick up wings. Since they don't open until I get off of work it's impossible for me to order in advance and I don't have the time to wait for their fryers to heat up. Very disappointing.

Damn! Kyle beat me to it! This is by far the best place in the small suburb of South Milwaukee, WI! Great bar food as Kyle mentioned. Fun atmosphere. Good beer selection. Awesome bands (well one at least). And the most fun you will have at a Halloween party in a bar. Great service and superfriendly owners will have you coming back over and over again.

This is a great corner bar in South Milwaukee. I come here for the 40 cent wing special on Sundays and Wednesdays. These wings are huge and I mean HUGE! There are tons of flavors to pick, from mild to Boom Boom. I personally love the Honey Mustard and Teriyaki wings. I know, I'm pretty weak with spicy foods. I also had the fried mushrooms and toasted ravioli and loved them both. There is a great beer selection including my favorite, Spotted Cow! Great job adding the bags section. It has been fun playing the last few times!

We just moved to the area and are having fun checking out the local food. We happened upon Johnny Mo's last Friday afternoon by chance with an hour to kill. I tried and fell in love with the homemade clam chowder. It was good enough to get us to return this week. Same chowder, same awesomeness. Warning, they ran out right after us and it was still pretty early. 7ish. I told the hubby that if I am sick during the winter and craving soup, this is where he will be getting it from for me. He raved about the huge fried shrimp dinner as well.

I have been enjoying Wednesday Wing Night for about 6 years now and I have to say Johnny Mo's wings are probably the best and biggest I've ever had! They must pump those chickens so full of hormones and steroids that the results are nothing but plump and juicy chicken wings for all us humans to enjoy! They have dozens of wing sauces to douse them in and you can get your spiciness from mild to crazy hot. They serve their wings for 60 cents a pop on Sunday and Wednesday nights. You honestly only need an order of 5 wings to get full since they are so big, but you're gonna want more!

The slowest and worse service ever! Even though it took over an hour for the food they still managed to screw up 2 of the 4 orders. In their defense they comped the meal but it doesn't matter...I will never come back to this shithole again.

I'm embarrassed to admit how often my husband and I used to eat here when we lived in S. Milwaukee, but it is just so good! The wings are flipping amazing! So many options and every one mouth watering. I'm also a big fan of the French onion soup. Atmosphere is your typical south side Milwaukee bar and grill; nothing remarkable. But the food will keep you coming back again and again. I wish I still lived closer!

Excellent chicken tenders, the spicy garlic sauce makes bw3's taste like red water with garlic powder. The haddock on Friday is very good too. Plus they have tader tots, come on what's better than that.

I was introduced to Johnny Mo's by my brother. He said their wings were great. He did not lie! The wings are delicious and cheaply priced on wing day. Their breaded mushrooms are homemade and taste like the ones my mom use to make when I was a kid. My dad request their mushrooms at least once a week! I have also had the taco salad, it was huge! Lots of toppings on it, I had trouble finding the lettuce (which is a good thing.) Yesterday I had a baby shower there. They worked with me every step of the way! Prices were much better than all the other places I looked at. Oh and the food (buffet style with turkey, mash potatoes, and other sides) was excellent!!! I received many compliments, many people asked if I made the food... That shows the food is very tasty and homemade. Overall, they are great whether you are stopping in for a drink, having dinner, or planning a party. Highly recommend!

A visit to South Milwaukee in search of tasty bar food. We headed here on a mission after reading the menu on their website. Parking was fairly simple, probably because it was a weeknight. There is no lot parking, all street and I can see it being an issue on a weekend. Bar is pretty big with 2 sides, one is your basic bar and the other has tables for dining, pool table, games, etc. I would think this would be where the bands would play since I heard they have live music here. There was some plastic up because of remodeling but since I was not there prior, don't know what if anything has changed already. I really like the ceiling, pressed steel tiles, looked very nice. Menu has a good variety of choices. Judging on what everyone had in front of them, I guess the wings are the thing there. Didn't hurt the special was $0.40 wings too. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with a Garlic/Parmesan sauce. Sauce had the potential to be great but was missing something, it was a little bland. The chicken was lost amongst the large pieces of french bread it was sandwiched between. Hubby ordered a Garlic Blue Burger, he said it had a lot of crumbled blue cheese on it. I guess if you like that kind of thing, this would be for you. I don't like blue cheese so I can not weigh in on this. He paid extra for the pretzel bun and really enjoyed that. Overall, service was good, food was average bar food, nothing spectacular. I do have to say though that the portions seemed on the bigger side with the exception of my grilled chicken. If I was in the area and looking for something to eat, I would stop again but wouldn't make the drive specifically to go here again.

Great food and friendly service at this neighborhood bar. They even welcomed a Bears fan into their midst during football season last year AND put the game on for me (when the Packers weren't playing).

I'm really starting to love Johnny Mo's! I go once a week for their bags league... you know, what we've all played in a pregame-drunken-stupor while tailgating at Miller Park. Anyhow, even though my team always loses, we still always manage to have a great time. That's because they've got great music, creatively delicious bar food, awesome service, and a fun crowd. Johnny Mo's has more than just typical bar food. They've gone well beyond mozzarella sticks and chicken strips in a sad basket. They've got a keen sense of what sounds tasty at midnight to a bar full of Milwaukeeans. Pulled pork wonton wraps? They've got it. Piping hot Tater Tots covered in cheese sauce, bacon bits, and sour cream. They've got it. Creative burger selection? They've got it. Pizza, wings, sandwiches, Friday fish fry, soups, and salads. They've got those too. The staff is amazing as well. They are always super friendly and willing to make changes to any food order and are quick with drinks. Once our bags league ends, I'll still try to get to Johnny Mo's whenever I can... it's THAT good.

I used to go see my brother's cover band Superlow tear it up at Johnny Mo's! Would always go to eat there beforehand because their bar food is just great. Burgers are very good, big 1/2 lb. of meat but not greasy! I like the Hilly Billy with A1 sauce and fried onion strips. Yum! They've got karaoke and cover bands. Staff is super friendly and prices affordable!
